FAQ

Do you have a question about using our platform? On this page you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions. We are here to help you. Can’t find your question? Feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help!

  • How long can I chat with 1 credit?

When you post a job you automatically receive 10 free credits.
With 1 credit you can have unlimited chat and video calls with 1 candidate for the duration of your job.
If you have any credits left after 60 days the credits will be reserved. When you post a new job or renew your job the credits can be used again.

  • Can I use the credits I receive for free with one job posting with another job posting with Jobpackers?

Yes, it does not matter for which job you use the credits you received.

  • List of candidates

When a candidate has approved a placement document it is automatically placed in your candidate overview. Your candidate list will always remain online as long as you, the employer, maintain your profile. The candidate list is separate from your job postings.

  • How do I record appointments with a candidate?

When you have agreed to work with a candidate, the employer creates a placement document.
This confirmation contains details of the candidate and employer and the agreements made. The placement document is visible in the chat module under the “create placement document” button. The employer fills in the details and it is then sent to the candidate. In the chat module, the candidate employee can approve the placement.

  • What is a placement document?

As employer and candidate, you want to set down the agreements together.
There is a lot involved in starting work at the new workplace. We want to avoid discussions and make good agreements.
Through the placement document, you agree together on the starting date, the gross hourly wage and the other terms and conditions of employment, such as the period of work. The placement agreement is not an employment contract; the employer must enter into this at the start of the work.

  • How can I be sure a candidate will show up?

and placement document is also the confirmation for the employee.
If the employee does decide to opt out of the placement, he or she must also unsubscribe from Jobpackers 5 working days before arrival under the “Cancel placement document” button.
If the employee does not unsubscribe on time and does not start work, we ask the employer to report this. This is reported via the “not started” button.
If the candidate does not sign off on time then a block on the platform will follow for 60 days. It is important that the candidate also keeps the appointments made.

  • Can I cancel a placement document?

The placement document is an important agreement and the basis for the employment contract. When a placement document is approved by both parties it can still be cancelled. The cancellation period is 5 days before the agreed start date.
You can do this by canceling the candidate on the candidate list by pressing the “Cancel” button on the candidate list. It is important to keep agreements made and to respect the conditions. If this goes wrong your advertisement will be deleted and all chat possibilities will expire. You must then post a new ad for new candidates.

  • How do I know that a candidate accepts the placement document?

A candidate can agree to the digital placement document you sent via chat. Once the placement document is accepted, it automatically appears in the candidate list on your dashboard! At that point, the placement is accepted.

  • Do I have to find my own replacement if a candidate does not show up?

It is wise to leave your job posting online on the platform. This way you can build a pool of favorites without using credits. Chances are that you will successfully find another candidate who wants to work for you quickly.
This way you can decide yourself when you want to get back in touch with the registered candidates, your credits are only used again when you start chatting via the portal.
